RIYOKO IKEDA

Ikeda started practicing gekiga during her studies while attending university. In 1972, she began serializing "Lady Oscar (The Rose of Versailles)" which became a global phenomenon and has left an impressive mark in the industry. Graduating from the vocal music course of Tokyo College of Music in 1999, Ikeda is also currently active as a soprano singer.
